Wrong for Good Reasons
by bam
Most of the famous stories about people being wrong in the past are themselves wrong. Educated Europeans never thought the world was flat, Columbus's critics had the better argument, and the geocentrists were reasoning carefully from real evidence. This course follows four beliefs that were reasonable and mistaken, one myth that was manufactured on purpose, and one fraud that lasted forty years because it fit, and it ends by turning the same question on you: what would change your mind?
